Who are we and
why choose Maison Des Rêves?
Hi!
We are Mark and Laurice, and we can't wait to share the Maison Des Rêves with all of you!
We both have a passion for food and drink, plus all things French! Owning two bar restaurants in England means we are extremely busy all of the time, so escaping to France since the 1980's has been the norm!
We had always dreamed of having a house in Normandy and in 2016, this became a reality.
The House is located in a small village in Lower Normandy, Notre-Dame-du-Touchet: it is a Norman Village with links all the way back to the vikings, so it is rich in history.
It consists of two ensuite bedrooms with a bed settee on the ground floor which also has a third bathroom in the form of a wet room, making it very accessible for disabled visitors. It has recently has been renovated to a high standard, making it very up to date and modern. For larger groups, we use our neighbours cottage, Bells End Cottage, which has a further two bedrooms and bathrooms.
In the UK, we love sharing our excitement with others and creating an environment for everyone to enjoy! So Maison Des Rêves is a perfect place to spend sometime to relax and unwind!
